Round 1: Characterized by ugly, racially polarized battles dubbed “Council Wars”, Harold’s first term was a relentless struggle with the Vrdolyak Twenty-nine (led by “the Eddies”) who refused to enact his reform legislation. Only Washington’s fancy footwork and sharp veto hook kept him off the ropes.
Round 2: Harold came out swinging. The Eddies hit the mat. Vrdolyak went down a class becoming a Republican. Kelly gave up his parks belt and Burke lost his finance title. Harold Washington wins! TKO! TKO! TKO!

Hey.
All collectibles on Oyez Perez come from the mind of Chicago-native designer Mike Perrone. While he is best known for the projects and assignments completed by his studio, Hunterwasser, this website was created as a place to distribute custom limited edition apparel and merchandise available nowhere else. Throughout the Spring and Summer months we will be releasing a new collectible every few weeks which will lead up to the launch of something very special this Fall. Please stay tuned and check back often–as there's no telling what type of collectible will be released next, nor how many will be produced.
Through Hunterwasser, Mike has art directed for everyone from EA to Panasonic to Newmarket Films. Additionally, he is a founding member of the creative collective Luffers where he shares the stage with Chicago's best and brightest multidisciplinary talents.
